The SWP 06 rotational welder has been designed and manufactured using cutting-edge technologies (3D CAD, CNC). With this technology, most round-shaped thermoplastic materials can be welded.
In rotational welding technology, the heat necessary to melt parts is produced by a rotating motion combined with thrust pressure. One of the parts to be welded is held with a clamping device, while the other is set in motion by a rotating spindle. The assembly process is simple and is based on well-known and easy-to-understand physical principles. Solder joints are simple and allow a high degree of design freedom. The tools that hold the pieces to be welded are also simple and can be manufactured by the customer. The available mechanical and electrical solutions create optimal working conditions with extensive adjustment possibilities, making the welder ideal for most welding applications.
The welder has a very robust structure. The motor that drives the rotating spindle is of the brushless type. The movement of the motor support head is achieved through a pneumatic system operated by a proportional valve and on high-precision prismatic guides.
One of the most important features of this welder is the cycle control system managed by MICROPROCESSOR.
It is possible to weld using the time function and with the quota function. In this case, the welding quota is managed by an optical ruler with centesimal resolution.
It is very important that the rotating spindle stops at a precise angular position with minimal error. Thanks to this feature, parts with a geometric shape and a reference angle can be welded. Different thrust pressures can be programmed for each phase of the cycle, head lowering stroke, welding and cooling. The microprocessor can store 20 welding programs.
