The CNC control unit is designed as an accessory for PT series butt welders and offers an automated version of the welding cycle.
Simply enter the data of the pipe to be welded (material, diameter and thickness) in the control panel and select the reference standard.
The control unit automatically calculates and adjusts the parameters to be used (temperature, pressure and times of the different stages) and moves the machine carriages within the calculated times.
It is equipped with a USB output to transfer welding reports and a printer.
It also has a GPS antenna to track the welding carried out.
Its operation is simple and intuitive, with a step-by-step guide in all work steps.
The final report is saved in the control unit’s memory and all reports can be transferred to a PC or USB stick via the USB output.
At the end of the cycle, the report can also be printed on the integrated printer.
